If you can no longer rely on your fuel gauge or if it always reads "full" or "empty", it may be necessary to replace the top-mounted fuel tank float. First check that the meter is still working properly by holding the connecting wire against the chassis (ground), the meter should then show a full tank of fuel (for electric floats only). The repair of an electric float is not possible, replacement is the only solution.
Most petrol floats are supplied with the gasket included. If this is not the case, you can order them in addition, they will be indicated in the tab "Options".
Floats, for which the float is mounted to the transducer with a metal rod, should be adjusted by bending the metal rod and bending the stops.
Note: With a number of floats you can choose between different qualities. If you choose quality B, this may affect the accuracy of the indication and the service life. These floats are therefore not covered by any form of warranty.
