If side-mounted carburetors are fitted, it is necessary to connect the throttle levers of both carburetors together. It is important that there is as little play as possible in the transmissions, so that both carburetors respond continuously and equally to the throttle setting.
These Cross-bar throttle valve systems are of very high quality using thick mounting plates on the carburetors, Heim ball throttle valves originally developed for aviation and equipped with a main control arm connecting the left and right carburetors, made of solid steel. The entire Cross-bar acceleration system has been copied from Porsche's, which has adopted a similar design for air-cooled six-cylinder engines.
These Cross-bar gas bars are suitable for our full range of intake manifolds.
Delivered complete, but without air filter.
