The bigger the carburetor, the more power is only half truth, the rest of the engine must also be adapted to this situation. That's why you need to think about the carburetor that best suits your engine.
This Weber 32/36 mm DFEV register carburetor is a very suitable carburetor for all those who want to combine the economy of a single carburetor with the power of a dual carburetor. This register carburetor (or two-stage carburettor) contains two butterflies which differ in diameter, namely 32 and 36 mm.
The small throttle works like the original carburetor, while the large throttle is only used when the accelerator pedal is pressed further. This allows you to drive economically and use the extra power by means of the second stage.
It is advisable to have your engine tuned on a power bench, only then will the maximum power be reached. Once on the power bench, the jets will be adjusted and the ignition timing perfected. Replacing the standard vacuum advance distributor with a more responsive type 009 distributor is recommended (see Options tab).
