The front wheel bearings are protected from dust and dirt by these caps, which are again concealed by hubcaps. If you don't want to fit hubcaps, the wheel bolts and hub caps will have to undergo a metamorphosis. For the wheel bolts, there are highly chrome-plated bolts (see the related parts tab) and the standard dust caps will be replaced by these elegant chrome-plated dust caps.
There is no hole for the speedometer cable, you will have to do it yourself if you wish.
The intention is not to fill this dust cap with grease as it is not a storage chamber, the grease storage chamber is located between the front and rear wheel bearing and locked by the bearings with a pressure ring at the front and a grease seal at the rear.
