If the drums are worn, you can machine them up to 1 mm, but for this you will need oversized brake shoes, which are no longer available at all. The old brake shoes will therefore have to be reapplied with an oversized brake lining. I think you already understand, it's a bit tedious and much more expensive than a new brake drum.
It is advisable to replace the two brake drums on the front or rear axle together to avoid a difference in braking force between the left and right.
All brake drums are delivered in parts without bearings, take them out additionally if necessary.
