The most important bolts in the front and rear suspensions are those of the suspension arms or wishbones, and this is where they are mounted on the chassis.
The arms move in vulcanized bushes, and if there's too much play they'll have to be removed and replaced, which will have to happen sooner or later with every aging Volkswagen.
The bolts must be rust-free, and loose rust is not a problem that can be sanded away, but in the event of encrusted rust, it's wise to replace the bolts.
These are 10.9 bolts and identical to the original in every detail, so they also have a Dacromet treatment as applied by Volkswagen in the 1990s and still today. Dacromet bolts and nuts are more resistant to corrosion than galvanized bolts and nuts.
Note : The "options" tab shows the bolts for the front and rear suspension brackets. Please order the correct options for the application for which you require these bolts.
