At the end of the automatic transmission housing is the oil cooler which provides cooling for the automatic transmission. Under load, the oil heats up, the higher the load, and if there is no oil cooler, the automatic transmission will overheat in the near future. In the event of overheating, the oil loses its properties, begins to foam, resulting in a lack of oil pressure and therefore a lack of lubrication.
The oil cooler is mounted with two banjo bolts that feed and drain the oil. These O-rings provide a seal between the oil cooler, banjo bolts and gearbox housing.
These O-rings are specially designed for this purpose, so never use universal O-rings.
These gaskets are single-use, even if they look good, do not reuse them.
